What is the most appealing part of our great nation, India?

I feel it is her community spirit. It is the need to find unity in diversity, to find a common ground in spite of differences of language, cultures, mind-sets, even barring the social evils of caste and creed. It is this spirit of comradeship, our devotion to respect, and work towards our nation's glory, that earns India enormous respect the world over. It is what we need from eIndians as well.

What is eIndia?

eIndia too is just such a place, made of just such people. It is a community, a mini-model of Our people on the New World, the eWorld.

It is the repesentation of OUR nation on the online social strategy game, cum networking community, eRepublik. This 'tool' as I prefer to call it, and see as such, transcends the aspects of just any other 'game' simply on the basis that who you are, not as an individual, but as a Citizen of your nation, and that gains or loses you respect and directly determines the progress or regress of your nation.

In eRepublik, you are a Citizen of your nation, and have the power to directly influence every aspect of your nation's growth. Be it in politics, business or military, eRepublik provides us the opportunity to have our say like no other forum. We can experiment with business models, influence our fellow citizens with moving speeches, and have to deliver on them, as they elect us as representatives of our country. We can even become our nations's President.
Ever felt bored, disgusted, or helpless with the way our politics are played out. Here you can have your own say, and make a difference. Yes, it is not real life, but I myself have seen how it is a great learning tool for real life. And it is all about respect, the community that we are part of, and how we conduct ourselves as true representaives of India in real life, as players from all over the world look at us, not as just a bunch of gamers, but citizens of a nation, with a great history of respect, community and culture.

today eIndia is a minnow, a dot in the eRepublik world, with only over 500 users. It is not for everyone, as it requires patience, and dedication. It requires commitment, not based on individual concerns, but based on a sense of national pride and respect for fellow citizens around the world. Like in Real Life, politics is hard, business is also tough and many a country is always all too willing to take control of our lands. Today India has 7 of her states under foreign rule, but we're working real hard to gain those regions back, not through military might, but through trust and peaceful negotiation. In spite of having countries like Indonesia and Iran surrounding us (they have taken over many regions from othercountries as well), who have thousands of Citizens as compared to our hundred few, eIndia receives lot of recognition from around the world, to a large extent due to our'leaders' in the eIndian Government. We are led in this effort to restore and build our nation's glory by a very good friend of mine, Shailesh from the beautiful city of Indore, our eNation's President.

You could take this 'speech' of mine as advertising for a 'game', but we have nothing to gain, individually if yu join and help us. But we have a lot to gain if we work as a community, show the world through this platform, what makes India great, who are the people, that make India. We are Indians, we respect, and in eIndia, we try and convey this very spirit to one and all! We need you to help us in building eIndia now!
